Lake Como day trip from Milan

The beautiful Lake of Como is at a short distance from Milan. Its coasts are surrounded by the Alps and by its shores you can see enchanting villages.

You’ll visit the historical city center of Como and its ancient catheadral.

You can also enjoy a cruise on the lake. You’ll admire the villas on the shores and the gardens with exotic and rare plants.

In summer time you can also visit the charming village of Bellagio, one of the most famous villages on the lake, where you can stop for lunch or for a coffee, capuccino or ice-cream.

In winter time, from Como you can also take the funicular to reach the village of Brunate, from where you’ll enjoy a spectacular view of the lake.

According to your requests, might also be added the visit to “Villa Carlotta”, one of the most beautiful mansions on the lake and its magnificent Bothanical Garden and/or the village of Varenna.

In the afternoon, drive back to Milan.

– Como, walking sightseeing of the city center during which you’ll see the catheadral and the Broletto, the Medival City Hall, and its historical streets.

– Bellagio (in spring and summer time) the small village considered the pear of the lake, you’ll walk in the narrow alleys and you’ll see the caracteristic shops and/or Brunate (in autoum and winter times) you’ll reach this small village by funicular to wach the view from the top of the hill.

Day trip is meant to be done by private car or minivan and licensed driver. But in case of larger groups I can also provide a bus. You might also consider to go to Como also by train. I can provide tailor made solution for you.

22,40 euro per person open ticket for ferryboat

5,50 euro per person round ticket funicular to Brunate village

15,00 euro per person entrance ticket to villa Carlotta and gardens

6,50 euro per person entrance ticket to the gardens of villa Melzi d’Eril

There might be reducted tickets for Seniors (over 65 years old) and Juniors (youger then 12 years old)

Guests can decide to visit only the sites of their interest.


What you need during the tour

– Confortable shoes

– Dress code for visiting religious places requires you are conveniently dressed (no sleveless T-shirts or dresses, skirts or troussers long until the knee), it’s advisable to bring with you a scarf to cover you in case of need.
